We are not in Miami, the Bahamas or the Maldives, or some tropical island in Africa. We are still right here at home, Cape Town on top of the hill in Sea Point and with the mountainous Lion’s head and ocean as the back drop. We brought the whole experience to us, I couldn’t have picked any perfect outfit for this than a nice pair of shorts with a palm tree print.

It is amazing when you get to live a dream and use the little resources you have to complete the ambiance, pool side, roof top and views!! Well that’s it right there. Coco Rico Liqueur took me to all the most traveled to islands in each sip, I was taken to Tanzania and Mauritius all at once. A perfect distilled Liqueur bottle, with salted caramel and yes it taste heavenly, you can have it as dessert or perhaps use it as a finishing touch to your favourite dessert this summer.
If people that live in any paradise across the world get to have this drink every day to survive, I want to move in there. For me what stood out is really it’s soft texture in the mouth, when you swallow then that is the finishing for me, it embodies creme and a blend of liqueur, all this comes together so well. It looks so rich in the glass, each moment you take a sip then it’s all so perfect and you just cannot stop. The salted caramel and coconut add such a beautiful sweet taste to the bottle.
So when I checked in to the hotel, in the meantime I was waiting for my assistant to get there. I couldn’t think of any other way to do the waiting with. I opened a bottle of Coco Rico, and I was so taken aback by how nice it tasted, when everyone walked in, I couldn’t stop myself but to say ‘ Guys, you have got to try this’. Coco Rico tastes so nice that you forget that you are having alcohol.
I have honestly never tasted any Liqueur drink before, and I am glad that my first time was with Coco Rico. It was such a perfect blend of sweetness, offering that rich taste to balance everything out.
Coco Rico is that drink to be indulged into at home after a Sunday meal, it is a perfect start just before you get on to the stronger stuff. The beautiful bottle is a stunning representation of the pureness inside.
