This summer, Cape Town’s culinary scene welcomes something deliciously different. Parlour — the latest
creation by celebrity chef Claire Allen — is a three-month pop-up that reimagines the art of brunch.
Inspired by Claire’s time in London and Paris, and her passion for bringing people together through great food,
Parlour showcases her signature Croque Monsieur: rich, cheesy, indulgent, and perfected under her own recipe. Gluten-free and pork-free options are available, with every variation delivering the same decadent, melt-in-your-mouth experience.

Launching Sunday, 7 December 2025 at The Deli, Sea Point, Parlour will run on select Sundays through
February 2026. In partnership with Boschendal, guests enjoy a 90 minute seating sipping on bottomless Cap
Classique alongside a beautifully executed menu designed to spark conversation, laughter, and laid-back

Sunday living, all set to the warm ambience of live music.
Brendon Crew, owner of The Deli says,
“The Deli has always been passionate about exceptional food and
memorable moments. We’re thrilled to join forces with Claire to bring Parlour to life.”
To finish, guests get to indulge a decadent chocolate éclair — a little wink to Claire’s name and sweet personality.
“Parlour is about having fun — it’s social, a little cheeky, a little indulgent, and made with love,
” says Claire.
wanted to create something that celebrates food, friendship, and the simple pleasure of sipping bubbly on a Sunday.
