Award-winning South African singer, songwriter and performer Moonchild Sanelly is entering a new musical chapter with her upcoming Afro-house project, “The Blueprint” releasing via Zakes Bantwini’s Mayonie Productions, which brings her fearless artistry and unmistakable energy into a fresh sonic space.
Known for her bold creative expression, distinctive visual identity and electrifying live performances, Moonchild Sanelly has consistently challenged expectations around what contemporary African music can sound and look like. The upcoming Afro-house project sees Moonchild Sanelly explore a sound deeply connected to the African dancefloor, combining her distinctive vocal style and unconventional approach with the rhythmic and electronic elements that define Afro-house.
The first single from the project is set for release on 7 October 2026, followed by a second single on 21 October 2026, with the full album scheduled for release on 4 November 2026.

Her signature “Future Ghetto Funk” sound has always drawn from a wide range of influences, including electronic music, gqom, amapiano, alternative pop and African club sounds.
