Finding travel as such an intriguing thing to do for me was the best thing I had ever met my entire life, and hopping from one establishment to the next kind of makes me the happiest person ever alive. It is such an integral part of me now, to make sure that I stay in the most fanciest and luxurious Hotels ever.

As the order of the week, I had some fabulous downtime off my really hectic schedule from the office, went to go lay my head at the 3 Star Premier Quartermain Hotel on West Street in Sandton, where stillness is served from the platter as you walk through the stairs after your Uber ride, a place of calmness, almost like the walls are some castle in Scotland. QuarterMain, particularly I say that it is where the past meets the present and the future, with the exotic pools both on the other side of the rooms and at the restaurant side where meals are served. Sitting there at night during dinner and surrounded by very well lit blue water from the pool was actually a thrill you cannot buy even with your millions in the bank.
Normally when one says “it is a 3 Star hotel”, you get to worry as to, will it really serve the purpose and will I really like it there? I think right now the whole star rating is kind of a myth when it comes to QuaterMain, as the experience embodies that of any 5 star you find anywhere in the country, the excellent service from the reception lady who made sure I do not get lost in the maze trying to find my room, that was an alert of bigger things yet to come.
So I checked in during the late hours of the afternoon and I had almost the sun I was chasing for my Instagram pictures. I headed straight to my room, and as I walked in I was welcomed by class, luxury and sophistication, both furniture and the ambience of the room which was called a “standard room”, I found it to be a presidential suite, and now that makes me wonder how is the experience in their presidential suites. A thrill yet to unfold.
Be it you are a small backpacker, business traveller or just one like me who travels for a living and you are looking for a stunning quiet, and yet a private hotel to sleep at around Sandton, the QuaterMain Bistro Hotel will take you in and give you all that you want, it is a deserted little spot but yet in the heart of the busiest places, Sandton. The owners were able to prioritise privacy, quietness and made sure that as soon as you are inside you get to feel like you are in some resort outside the city.

I just really love how all of this combines and create a perfect gateway, a place of comfort and resilience. The Premier Hotels Group is definitely onto something with the QuaterMain, and I want to live to see how big this brand is still going to grow to even bigger heights than what it is right now. With the correct reception personell and really awesome kitchen staff, any hotel is headed to the stars with these aspects figured out, as they make the greatest part of any establishment.
