They say that when you are in Rome you do as the Romans do, and who am I to break such traditional and historical rules?
Being in Cape Town meant that I would certainly do what Cape Townians do, drink their drinks and eat the food that they eat. Lekker hey!! That is the language spoken there and being in travel, that has taught me to experience different cultures in each city or town, leaving no stones unturned.

To celebrate my life and coming back to the lime light and fabulous things I got to partner with Cape Town’s premium Gin brand – Cape Town Gin, and where else do you do this in South Africa without touching down the Mother City, which is one of the world’s best cities. Indeed Cape Town is a dream, for it’s effervescent lifestyle and the expensive taste that it has, you certainly are in for a treat.
The Cape Town Gin boasts of amazing four really awesome flavours which are all sourced from the botanicals that embody the Mother City.

These botanicals that make this GIn unique all taste really good, with each sip you are taken into the city life and they are good on the palate. Trust me you can never go wrong!
I had the honor to sip in glasses of two of Cape Town Gin flavours which left me wanting for more.
The Pink Lady which comes with a very vibrant colourful pink. Dude, pink Gin is the thing and this premium bottle is the one to go by. Very strong in taste, please do make sure that you request an e- hailing after a few glasses, we do encourage safe and responsible drinking.
The Pink Lady as it is called, what a perfect blend of nature, as you open the bottle, a smell of local botanicals welcomes you, a perfect combination of rose petals, rose waters and hibiscus flower, this perfectly distilled bottle is really a nice touch of colour display, I think the rose petals do add so much into it’s sweet flavour.
Best that you enjoy this one with friends, which I did. In a balcony somewhere chilled in upmarket.
Then we have the Rooibos Red flavour which is my absolute favourite, Lord have mercy to the makers. They knew exactly what they were doing with this one. I could skip tea every day and have a glass of the Cape Town Gin Rooibos Red flavour instead. I would recommend this one for the very cold weather, for it’s warmth to the lips as you take each sip. The culmination of purest of it’s flavours come together very well, as you twist the lid, it’s scent took me back to me making tea for my grand mother every afternoon.
Made with proudly locally sourced botanicals and Rooibos leaves that give it the popping colour red, as well as it’s great ability to take you back home, is really what invited me to this particular bottle.
This is true experience of a lifetime, this premium brands is most certainly what you need when you visit Cape Town next time, a true journey of the City Of Cape Town in a bottle for all the handcrafted Gin die hards.
